IPA Taman Contractors is a registered business under the Investment Promotion Authority of Papua New Guinea. In 2026 we are becoming the company Ipai Taman Limited. We are a local Porgera Landowner company endorsed by all the clan leaders of Porgera to do any form of business as a local Landowner company.
Ipai Taman Limited specializes in construction contract work. Our dedicated team offers comprehensive landscaping, construction, renovation and maintenance services tailored to our clients' needs.
In 2026, our services extends to property, real estate, supplies and procurement. We are now real estate agents to crown land registered (land title available) in prime locations in Wabag town and also in Porgera, Enga Province. We serve the mine and landowners within the Porgera Mining project.

John TAMAN
John is the Chairman of the firm and sole owner of the firm. John is a local landowner from Laiagam married to Porgera. John brings over 15 years of mine work expertise, formerly as a worker in Porgera but since 2016, he registered Ipa Taman Contractors to pursue business as a Local Landowner firm. Due to disruptions in the mining, Ipa Taman Contractors had not been able to enter into business until recently in 2025. We now pursue business to serve the mine and also our people the landowners of Porgera as the company "Ipai Taman Limited" starting in 2026.
Ale Gaun
Ale Gaun, former Student Affairs Executive of the University of Technology (Unitech), Ale is the Head of our Community Affairs Team. Ensuring balance is maintained between professionalism and culture is the most effective way forward to achieve the best outcomes in our line of business.

Wilfred has recently been appointed General Manager, in 2025. Wilfred comes from the world of Technology & Innovation. Australian Awards winner of 2024 for "Entrepreneurship & Innovation". Wilfred brings new business into Ipai Taman Limited for 2026 and beyond.
